Every once in a while, I get to photograph a session that feels less like “posing for the camera” and more like witnessing pure connection. That’s exactly how it felt when I spent the evening with Backup, Chaos, and their incredible mom at a riverbank framed by mountain views and towering evergreens. The backdrop? A perfect Pacific Northwest sunset that painted the sky in golds and pinks. The heart of it all? The undeniable bond between a woman and her dogs.

Whether it’s an engagement, an anniversary, or simply celebrating another year with your best friend, your dogs deserve to be right there in the frame.
