Outdoor Adventure Pet Photography
Serving the Seattle, Tacoma, Kitsap Peninsula, and beyond
What is outdoor adventure pet photography?
Outdoor adventure pet photography is just what it sounds like: you, your best friend, the beautiful outdoors, and me with my camera capturing every sweet and silly moment.
I’ll join you and your pet on the adventure of your choice to capture candid, timeless portraits that showcase their personality and infuse your home with beautiful art work of your favorite memories with your best friend. From Seattle to Tacoma, to Bainbridge Island to Issaquah and beyond….no adventure is too small!
I serve Pierce, King, Snohomish, Kistap counties and beyond, including the Bremerton, Gig Harbor, Tacoma, Seattle, Issaquah and more. I also love to travel for sessions, so if you don’t live nearby and want to work together, reach out and let’s chat!

Frequently Asked Questions About Outdoor Adventure Pet Photography
-
Leashes are so important for safety! 80% of my sessions are done in on-leash areas. Leash, collar, and harness removals are complimentary.

Have a shy and/or reactive dog? Me, too! I have a long lens that allows me to take stunning photos from afar if your pup would prefer to keep their personal bubble wide, but we can also get up close and comfy if your pup says it’s okay.
-
Yes! I want to capture you and your dog as you are, whether that’s a slow stroll through an urban park or zoomies in the mountains. You’ll bring your pup’s favorite toys and snacks so we can keep their attention for certain poses, but I’m there to capture you and your dog having fun, no matter what that looks like.

We’ll adjust to our drastic weather, PNW-style! If it’s raining we’ll get creative with rain coats, umbrellas, or just embrace the rain for some dreamy photos. Snowing? I LOVE snow. If the roads are safe to travel we’ll bundle up and make some winter magic happen. I keep an eye on the weather leading up to our session and if it’s looking unsafe we’ll work on a plan B, C, D, or E!

The beautiful PNW is our backyard, so the options are endless! We can meet at one of our wonderful urban parks or beaches or explore one of the many beautiful trails in Western Washington. Outside of my area? I love to travel and explore the beautiful Northwest! From the Washington and Oregon coasts to the Sawtooths of Idaho and beautiful Bend, Oregon, most locations are possible!

The golden, glowy light two hours after sunrise and two hours before sunset is the best time for outdoor portraits, but sometimes we can make other times of day work. The joy of adventure photography is being flexible!

I’d love to chat! I specialize in dog photography but truly love all animals. In addition to dogs I also had cats and ferrets growing up, and spent 20+ years riding horses. Want to do a Day in the Life with your cow? I love it. Hiking adventure with your cat? I love that, too.

I will not photograph any activities that include fishing, hunting, or pack animal rentals. Clients must also agree to not use aversive or negative corrections while we are together. This includes aggressive physical corrections, or the use of shock-collars, e-collars, citrus collars, prong collars, chains, or any gear that can potentially harm or injure the animal. Properly fitted martingale collars are a-okay.
