I met Ginger and her dad at Owen Beach on a sunny day when the tide was low, the mountain was out, the ferry was running, and Miss Ginger was ready to play at the beach!
She loves the beach but doesn’t love the water (I get it, girl…the Puget Sound is COLD) so we waited for a low tide day so miss girl could have tons of beach to run on all while keeping her beans dry. It just so happened the mountain was out, the sky was clear, and we were graced with the most spectacular cotton candy sunset.

Owen Beach is the real stunner when the mountain is out, but the miles upon miles of trails in the park are perfect for forest photos, fern portraits, and an on-trail pet photography experience without having to leave the city.
