Gracie on the Beach | West Seattle Pet Photography
Ah, Lincoln Park! It's one of my favorite places to spend a quiet morning and is the PERFECT spot for pet photography in West Seattle! The park is perched on a hill overlooking Puget Sound, and the views are breathtaking. On clear days, you can see the Olympic Mountains towering in the distance, their snow-capped peaks gleaming in the sun. The water is a deep shade of blue-green, and it stretches out to the horizon like a vast, shimmering carpet. You can watch the ferries chugging back and forth between Seattle and the islands, and if you're lucky, you might spot a pod of whales swimming by.
But there's more to Lincoln Park than just the stunning views. The park itself is a sprawling wonderland of trees, trails, and hidden nooks. You can hike along the forested paths, listening to the rustle of leaves and the chirping of birds or you can take the paved path down to the beach and explore the coastline, with its big piles of driftwood (some bigger than a car!), smooth rock beach, and enjoy the sunshine, salt water, and occasional peek of a seal popping up to say hello.
Gracie and her mom made the trip from up north to bask in the sun in West Seattle, and I’m so glad she did! We had a great time climbing on some driftwood, getting lots of sniffs in along the bunny trails, and lots of soaking up the views. I offer both standard sessions and mini sessions at Lincoln Park and would be so happy to share this beautiful area with you. I know it like the back of my hand and know all the best photo spots!
