Khaleesi’s Rainbow Bridge Adventure | Point Defiance, Tacoma Pet Photography

I met Khaleesi and her moms at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma for her Rainbow Bridge session, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. It is truly the perfect location for dog portraits! Khaleesi got to explore the ferns in the forest, sniff through the underbrush and take in all the smells, and then relax on the soft, warm sand in the sunshine with her moms. She got to eat as many freeze dried minnows as she wanted, and got to lie out in the sun next to the water, frequently pushing her nose into the air to smell all the good sniffs that come in on the breeze.

End of life sessions are always difficult, but it is a service I am honored to offer to my clients. These sessions are meant to show joy, love, and the eternal bond between a pet and their people. We have fun, make sure the dog is living their best life, and make sure the humans are okay, too. I take my role as end of life photographer very seriously and aim to always have you leave your session with joyful memories that you can carry with you through the upcoming hard times and lightness in your heart after spending quality time with your pet in beautiful places.
